Family Fun Science Night
On April 4, 2017, students, parents, teachers, and community members came together at Arapahoe Charter School to participate in our Family Fun Science Night. Students and parents were able to engage in science-related topics and constructed a catapult using propulsion and acceleration, discovered the use of insulators and conductors as they completed electrical circuits, accepted the zip line challenge using force and energy, and much more! Also on site were representatives from local organizations sharing after school and summertime opportunities. Our brand-new STEAM labs were open so that everyone could see the exciting science projects that our students have been working on including wind tunnels, electricity, and Robotics. To round off the evening, many adults indulged with assorted hot and cold coffees from our own Bobcat Brewery, a project from the Entrepreneurship Class. This was an event that was enjoyed by all!
